Local Control Center and Hub Functionality

The G3 is designed to be the brain of your smart home:

• Zigbee 3.0 Hub: Functions as a Zigbee 3.0 hub, connecting up to 128 Aqara Zigbee child-devices and enabling integration across all your Aqara sensors and home automation devices (e.g., home guard, data reporting, and smart control).

• Local IR Control: The built-in Infrared (IR) controller makes your existing IR-compatible devices (like TVs or air conditioners) smart and supports local automations that run even without an internet connection.

• Wide Ecosystem Compatibility: Supports seamless integration with major platforms including Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Alexa, and IFTTT. (Note: The IR function is not currently supported by HomeKit, but can be triggered via Siri Shortcuts or other assistants using Aqara Home or Google Home scenes.)
