Aqara Curtain Driver E1 Series: Battery-Powered Smart Curtain Automation

The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 Series offers the easiest way to automate your existing curtains. Available in both Rod and Track versions, these battery-powered motors install effortlessly without tools, instantly integrating your drapes into your smart home for maximum convenience and energy savings.

An Aqara Zigbee Hub is required for full smart functionality and remote control.

Dual Compatibility for Any Window

Choose the version that fits your existing setup:

• Rod Version: Clips onto most popular curtain rods with a smooth, uniform thickness (rods 25–32 mm diameter supported). Note: Does not support telescopic/extendable rods.

• Track Version: Designed specifically for curtains using U-Rails and I-Rails.

Smart Control and Personalized Routines

• Multiple Control Methods: Once guidance is set in the Aqara Home app, control your curtains remotely, via a gentle manual tug, or with voice commands using Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant.

• Built-in Light Sensor: The integrated light sensor allows for automatic control based on ambient brightness. If it's too bright outside, the curtains will close by themselves to block excessive sunlight and help regulate indoor temperature.

• Smart Home Automations: Enjoy customized, automated control based on weather, time, or other Aqara devices. Set a timer to customize a sleep-wake routine that perfectly fits your schedule, or link the curtains to sensors for energy-saving actions. Automations via HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT are supported.

Power and Performance

• Powerful Motor: The motor can handle a maximum load of up to 26.4 pounds (12 kg), capable of moving even heavier drapes with ease.

• Adjustable Speed: The speed of the motor can be adjusted to three levels, allowing for quiet operation and a slow, pleasant opening to gently ease your wake-up.

• Synchronized Control: You can choose between one or two motors per window. In the case of two motors, they can be grouped together to open the curtains simultaneously.

• Long Battery Life: A huge 6000 mAh rechargeable battery may last for up to a year without needing a recharge (actual life depends on curtain weight and usage). The device can be charged easily via the included USB-C cable using a power bank or power supply (not included).

Installation and Network Note

• Proximity for Sturdy Connection: For stable connectivity, ensure that the Curtain Driver E1 is within 10 meters of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and the hub is on the same Local Area Network (LAN) as the Wi-Fi router.
