The Aqara Smart Lightstrip Controller is the central command unit that transforms standard or compatible LED strips into a vibrant, fully automated part of your smart home. Utilizing the stable Zigbee 3.0 protocol, this controller unlocks advanced color, timing, and automation features.

Dynamic Color and Precision Lighting

• 16 Million Colors and Tunable Whites: Offers a mesmerizing palette of over 16 million colors (RGB) and provides tunable white light (CCT) with a spectrum ranging from warm to cool (typically 2700K – 6500K).

• RGBIC with Gradient Effects (Strip T1): When paired with the specialized Aqara LED Strip T1, the controller supports RGBIC technology. This allows the strip to be split into multiple addressable segments (typically 10 segments per 2m), enabling dynamic, multi-color gradient effects and sophisticated staircase lighting automations.

• Music Sync: The controller may include a built-in microphone to automatically synchronize your lighting effects with music or sound without relying on a nearby mobile device.

Seamless Smart Home Integration

• Zigbee 3.0 Protocol: Ensures a stable, reliable connection and acts as a mesh repeater to strengthen and expand your entire Zigbee network, outperforming standard Wi-Fi solutions.

• All-Round Compatibility: Works with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and IFTTT. It supports Matter through a compatible Aqara Matter Hub (such as the M2 or M3), ensuring future compatibility.

• Custom Automations: Easily create personalized scenes, schedules, and automations based on time of day, motion, or light level detected by other Aqara sensors.

• Energy Efficiency: Features ultra-low standby power consumption ($<0.5\text{W}$), making it environmentally-friendly and budget-conscious.

Installation and Power

• Output Power: Supports max output up to 12A total (or 6A per channel), compatible with common 12V or 24V DC LED strips. (Max wattage can reach 144W or 288W depending on voltage/model).

• Flexible Length: Compatible LED strips (like the T1) are typically cuttable (every 20 cm) and extendable up to 10 meters, making the system versatile for any DIY project.
