The Aqara Wireless Mini Switch is a compact, low-energy remote controller that brings convenient, flexible command to your smart home without any wiring or complex installation. This versatile button can be placed or stuck almost anywhere, instantly becoming a multi-functional controller, doorbell, or emergency button.

Multi-Functional Control

• One Touch Control & 3 Settings: Despite its minimalist design, the switch offers 3 distinct control settings (Single Press, Double Press, and Long Press). Each action can be configured to perform a unique programmable function, such as:

  • Turning a group of lights on/off.

  • Activating a complex scene (e.g., "Movie Night").

  • Controlling an individual smart device (like a smart plug or curtain motor).

• Doorbell Button: When connected to an Aqara Hub (equipped with a speaker), the switch can be used as a doorbell button with a selection of configurable ring tones.

• Emergency Button: For added security and peace of mind, your loved ones can press the button in an emergency to send an alert notification to your smartphone or trigger the alarm sound on the Aqara Hub in another room.

Reliability and Installation

• Designed to Fit Everywhere: No wiring required. Its minimal, compact design allows you to place it on a horizontal surface or attach it to a wall or furniture with the included adhesive sticker.

• Zigbee Protocol: Communicates via the Zigbee protocol, ensuring a stable connection and fast response time for reliable automations, even if your Wi-Fi is temporarily disconnected (as long as the Hub is powered).

• Long Battery Life: Powered by a CR2032 battery, the switch offers a long-lasting battery life of up to 2 years. (Note: Please pull the battery tab out before use. If the device does not work, check to see if the battery is depleted.)

Connectivity Requirements

For a sturdy connection, ensure that the Aqara Wireless Mini Switch is within 10m of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and the hub is within the same range from the Wi-Fi router (all on the same local area network). The switch is also compatible with major ecosystems like HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant when paired with an Aqara Hub.
